Oh baby, they are making a fortune.
British mum Paris Gough has stunned social media users after revealing her sons are earning a fortune, initially working full-time as child models.
Six-month-old Hunter and one-year-old Romeo regularly shoot for various brands, earning thousands of dollars a month.
“In July, they used him (Hunter) on a TV show, so he made £6,000 ($7,445),” the Brit boasted in a viral TikTok video, detailing her children’s lucrative earnings. “In August, he had a food shoot, a TV appearance and two clothing bookings and he earned £12,000 ($14,889.36).
Hunter, who has been modeling since she was a month old, peaked in September, earning nearly $45,000 doing Halloween photo ops, per clip.
The cut baby then took a brief hiatus in October, doing just one shoot for around $3,474, before earning around $14,890 in November and over $23,500 in December, despite only working three weeks during the latter.
All told, Hunter earned about $108,000 in six months – more than the annual salary of an investment banking analyst raised in the US.
However, neither Hunter nor his brother Romeo can keep their lucrative earnings, which have been put into a savings account that the sisters’ family members will be able to tap into when they are 18.
Viewers were impressed that these model kids were able to make so much dough while still in diapers.
“At first I thought you were being sarcastic!” A fan shouted. “They are absolutely smashing it!”
Another gushed: “Your six month old makes more money than me.”
“What a great start in life, even if they only make those first few years you set them up for life,” said a third.
Meanwhile, others wondered how their pride and joys could follow suit and become the babies of the family.
Tip: It helps to be from a “model” family. Gough, who has modeled herself for brands such as H&M, wrote in the comments that she introduced her sons to the family business by creating “private sessions that built a portfolio and then went from there with agencies.”
The model mom also has a four-year-old son named Saint, who has modeled for brands such as Heinz, but his career was somewhat cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
However, Gough admits that this unorthodox career path is not for every child.
“If you don’t want to do it, don’t do it for your child, but don’t judge anyone else who does,” she said.
